Hello! I am a physician-scientist in training interested in social cognition and its underlying mechanisms for biomarker development and treatment targeting. Social cognition is a way to describe how one percieves, integrates, and applies information about our social environment and the people in it. As a board-certified psychiatrist, I observe first-hand how the way we connect with others crosses diagnostic boundaries. I look for unique signatures specific to impaired processing of emotional cues using a combination of neuroimaging and machine-learning methods.
